Kohler GKD5600E - 7kVA Generator

Genelite GKD5600E is a robust 7kVA portable diesel generator designed to deliver dependable power for professional applications including construction sites, farms, workshops, and general industrial environments. Built with durability and performance in mind, this generator combines the reliability of a Kohler diesel engine with a high quality alternator to provide consistent electrical output in demanding conditions.

At the heart of the generator is the Kohler KD440E OHV single cylinder diesel engine, Operating at 3000RPM to deliver strong and reliable power. With a maximum output of 5.6kW and a continuous rating of 7kVA, the GKD5600E is capable of running various trade tools, pumps, lighting systems, and other electrical equipment used across job sites and agricultural operations.

The generator features both recoil and electric start, allowing operators to choose the most convenient starting method depending on their needs. This dual starting system helps ensure reliable startup and flexibility in a range of working environments.

A 5 litre fuel tank supports efficient operation and provides approximately 2.3 hours runtime at 100% load or 3.2 hours at 75% load, making the unit suitable for short to medium duration power requirements. The generator operates at 80dBA at 7 metres, typical for a powerful open frame diesel generator.

Power generation is handled by a Mecc Alte brushless alternator, offering less than 5% harmonic distortion and Class H insulation, which helps ensure stable voltage delivery and reliable electrical performance.

Built on a heavy duty extra large roll frame, the generator provides excellent structural protection and durability while remaining portable enough for site mobility. With dimensions of 87 x 70 x 60cm and a weight of 96Kg, the GKD5600E offers a dependable diesel powered solution for demanding environments.
