The Himoinsa HYW-160 T5 is a high capacity three phase diesel generator engineered for industrial, commercial, and agricultural environments that require dependable 170kVA performance. Powered by the robust Yanmar 4TN106T-GGEH turbocharged diesel engine, the unit delivers smooth and efficient 1500 RPM output with excellent load acceptance and consistent fuel economy. Consumption ranges from 16.6L/hr at 50% load to 32.6L/hr at ESP, making it suitable for both continuous duty and emergency standby applications.
Matched with the MeccAlte ECP34 2S/4 A alternator, the generator provides clean, stable and regulated three phase power. Its electronic AVR, brushless design, Class H insulation and IP23 protection ensure reliable voltage regulation even in demanding electrical environments.
The HYW-160 T5 features a rugged sound attenuated canopy constructed from galvanised steel and lined with high density volcanic rock wool. This reduces operational noise to 68 ± 2.4dBA at 7m, while also protecting internal components from weather exposure, dust and physical impact. Wide service doors, removable panels, a dry air filter, external drain points and protected hot surfaces make routine maintenance fast and accessible.
A 450L integrated fuel tank provides extended autonomy, allowing the generator to operate for long periods without interruption, ideal for remote locations and high demand facilities. Control and monitoring are managed through the CEM7 digital controller, offering real time electrical data, engine parameters, alarms and safety protections.
