The Himoinsa HRYW-17 T5 is a compact, soundproofed three phase diesel generator designed for rental, commercial, and light industrial applications requiring dependable power with controlled noise levels. Built to operate at 1500 RPM in accordance with ISO 8528 standards, this unit is suitable for both prime and standby duties on Australian worksites.
Powered by the reliable Yanmar 4TNV88BGGEH four cylinder diesel engine, the HRYW-17 T5 delivers smooth performance, efficient fuel consumption, and stable load response. The engine features direct injection, a mechanical governor, and liquid cooling for consistent operation under varying electrical demand. Prime power is rated at 18.1kVA, with 19.7 available for emergency standby operation.
Electrical output is supplied by a Mecc Alte ECP28 2L/4 A alternator, equipped with electronic AVR regulation, brushless excitation, Class H insulation, and IP23 protection. This configuration ensures clean, regulated three phase power suitable for site equipment, tools, and temporary installations.
The generator is housed in a sound attenuated steel canopy lined with high density volcanic rock wool. Noise emissions are controlled to approximately 60dBA @ 7 m, making it suitable for urban, rental, and noise sensitive environments. The enclosure provides full access for maintenance without removing the canopy and includes reinforced lifting hooks for safe transport.
A 170L integrated fuel tank supports extended runtime, while the watertight base chassis includes anti vibration mounts, liquid retention, drain plugs, and an external emergency stop. Control and monitoring are handled by the M7 key start control panel, with the option to upgrade to a CEM7 automatic controller if required.
